'Hell Bound'

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm wondering if it's likely that there will ever be huge, sixties/early seventies style demonstrations in the near future. And, if so, if we'll hear about them.

No one understands us. Er, them! Them.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

As a MA resident, I can only inform you that Ted Kennedy does NOT fall under the "prettier" category.

Point. Though at least he doesn't have a god-awful pinched, mean look for his default expression, nor a smirk for a smile.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

What about all the HUGE protests against the war when it was launched?

Yeah. He rocks. Now I feel bad for pointing out his non-prettiness. Forgive me, Ted!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hmph! You just lost yourself a free Kool-Aid, missy.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Steph, no, I agree. I'd have whitefonted that as well. Totally with you.

Scary thing, though, is while you might have been making a joke, I sort of wasn't. I honestly think that's just what the media would do. It's horrifying, not funny.

And, if so, if we'll hear about them.

If we did, it would be presented as "small groups of protesters" and "fringe groups".

(Psst! They were pudding. Jim Jones [also CRAZY] was Kool-Aid.)

What about all the HUGE protests against the war when it was launched?

Or the million+ pro-choice protesters in DC in April?

Nada. Nothing. didn't happen, because no one talked about it in any meaningful way.

How can we make a difference in this environment?
