There's a really good pizza place a half a block from my appartment. I probably eat there more often than I should....

It's hard to imagine this dog as vicious, but hard to read, sort of dim? Certainly.
See, while I wouldn't call his type vicious, I am very wary of midsized fluffy dogs and I'm guessing this comes from the chow's reputation and the behavior of one in my neighborhood. I totally tend to categorize dogs in terms of possibly scary from the midsized muscular ones(most scary), to smallish with sharp teeth to HUGE but bumbly and slow to finally, so-floppy-can-that-dog-move?
I do think it is really funny that I'm more likely to avoid a chihuahua or a pom out of worry than I am a great dane or the drool monster, a leonburger. Though I'd avoid the latter because of the drool.
When we moved to Burbank we had a pizza taste party with the the SiL and BiL and kids. We ordered a pizza from Domino's, Pizza Hut, and the two local places and had pieces of all of them. Pizza Hut won hands down with kids and adults alike, which, New York City Pizza snobs that we were, we didn't expect.
Trying to remember the last time I ate Domino's pizza....
Trying to remember the last time I ate Domino's pizza where a coupon for free pizza wasn't involved....
When I'm driving a long distance I'll often stop at Pizza Hut and get one of their Supreme Personal Pan Pizzas. Way nummier than McDonalds....
Just a quick survey: Who here eats the crust?
I do.
Well sometime this week I'll have lunch at Dominos and report back here.

Who here eats the crust?
Me too.
I keep thinking I should like Pizza Hut, but nope. Don't remember Domino's -- I like Papa John of the large chains, because that pepper and flavoured butter thing is amazing. But I think they pissed me off, so I get from a local place that's okay. No garlicky butter though, or bacon (other than Canadian) as a topping option.

Usually, unless it's not worth the effort. Sometimes the crust just doesn't taste that good, you know? At Pizza Hut, we get breadstick sauce and dip the crusts in them.

Yep. I was severely bitten by a dachshund when I was around four. I've been snapped at by chihuahuas. The rottweilers I've met, however, have been total sweetiepies. And I told them so to their faces. Their response: [pant] [pant] [languishing "pet my tummy" looks].
I love big dawgs.
And, re: pizza, there's a local chain called Amantes that I love. Their crust is well worth the eating, and they have loads of terrific toppings.
