Theo, DX is right. I think you're crazy to go out in this. Lots of people said they'd be lots of places, today. Churches are closing, for crying out loud. I believe this is only the second time my church has closed in the last 20 years.

God, I miss a real honest-to-god blizzard.

Yes, I realize I might be sorry if I actually were in Boston right now. Still. When last I lived in New England, I honestly liked shoveling snow.

flea, oh, she's so beautiful!!!!! I watched duck, rosina (is that a friend), barnyard dance, careful, and maybe one other. I have no sound, so didn't watch all.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You watched barnyard without any sound? But mr. flea is singing in that one! You're missing the cutest dad ever.

Well, he's probably the second cutest, as I live with the cutest dad. But yeah, that's when I got sad that I didn't have sound, then clicked on "careful" before I shut it down.

Rosina is a friend - it was her first birthday. The reason Rosina is on there is the audio - it cracks mr flea up.

For audio-free, I suggest giraffe.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

it's still snowing like a hamster out there.

Love this phrase. Not loving this weather. Please let us not be ground zero for accumulation again. Damn, it's nasty out there and shows no signs of letting up.

I'm with mr. flea on that. It's funny.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Hello, all. My window box has a cap of 20 inches (away from any drifting culprits like walls). My street was plowed once, at 9 last night, and has not been since that we can tell. And yes, the snow is horizontal, fast, and tiny glittering shards of glass instead of actual snow.

I do not live near a waterfront, but -- full moon high tide at 11am! We are expecting exciting stories about storm surge.

Sadly, the Patriots/Steelers game will be played in Pittsburgh, where it is cold but the snow is 2 days old. Last year, the championship game was played about 12 hours after a blizzard, and the stands were full of snow piles, and these crazy bundled Michelin Man fans would throw snow into the air like icy fireworks. It was hilarious to watch, and I am not even talking about what happened on the field.
