You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

By the time you have to come home, the storm will be over. It's awfully nasty out there right now.

What is even happening?

Estimate for car repair: $2200!!!!!!! Ack.

Oh, Rio. I'm so sorry. Very glad you're okay, though.

Consuela, that poor woman, and poor you guys, too.

OTOH, the front of my car is nearly snow-free. I could drive out if I really had to, though where I'd go, I'm not exactly sure.

Theodosia, how did that happen? Have you been blessed by some weird drift pattern, or have you been out shoveling?

Ben put on the news, to see if they announced that our church is closed (they did). We told them last night we weren't going, anyhow, because it would have required waking at about 4 to start shoveling, as our snow blower is on the fritz.

I <heart> progesso clam sauce.

Kat, do you use the white, or the red? I've only ever made my own (white--although I do usually use canned clams). The Progresso sauce has called to me from the market shelves, but I'm always afraid to try it. Does it need any doctoring or is it good to go, from the can?

Yummy fud. Except for the clam sauce part.
Lee, are you one of the freaks (with your flag, waving high) who doesn't like bacon, either?

You know, I would love to blame Jesse for all this snow. After all, she not only taunted happy fun Nor'easter, she's a New Englander turned New Yorker, which is just about as unnatural as green catsup. I can't even entertain the idea of blaming Nilly for this snow. As brilliant and amazing as she is, there are just some things you can't blame on a teeny tiny Israeli woman who has never seen snow, and a classic Nor'easter is one of them.

This is clearly the work of Canadians, folks. And the sooner you come to terms with that, the sooner we can invade and confiscate their weather machine.

The snow on my port is about 3 feet deep, but that's on account of the drift. In my estimatation we've already gotten somewhere between 1.5 and 2 feet, although I think that's higher than what was predicted for us, for this morning. Last night, the news was saying that was about what we'd get out of the whole shebang, and last I heard, it's supposed to snow all day. I haven't watched the weather this morning, because the boys cuted me out of the TV.

Theo, DX is right. I think you're crazy to go out in this. Lots of people said they'd be lots of places, today. Churches are closing, for crying out loud. I believe this is only the second time my church has closed in the last 20 years.

God, I miss a real honest-to-god blizzard.

Yes, I realize I might be sorry if I actually were in Boston right now. Still. When last I lived in New England, I honestly liked shoveling snow.

flea, oh, she's so beautiful!!!!! I watched duck, rosina (is that a friend), barnyard dance, careful, and maybe one other. I have no sound, so didn't watch all.

You watched barnyard without any sound? But mr. flea is singing in that one! You're missing the cutest dad ever.

What is even happening?

Well, he's probably the second cutest, as I live with the cutest dad. But yeah, that's when I got sad that I didn't have sound, then clicked on "careful" before I shut it down.

Rosina is a friend - it was her first birthday. The reason Rosina is on there is the audio - it cracks mr flea up.

For audio-free, I suggest giraffe.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

it's still snowing like a hamster out there.

Love this phrase. Not loving this weather. Please let us not be ground zero for accumulation again. Damn, it's nasty out there and shows no signs of letting up.

I'm with mr. flea on that. It's funny.
