Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not evil, either.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Jesse is secretly Storm, but not as annoying as Halle.

I dunno about that. Making it snow this much is pretty annoying.

I am not in control of the snow!!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's what they all say.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I want to point out I love Kristin's tag!

Hee! Well it's all your fault, you know...you and sumi and Matt and Frank! Little did I know how I was being slandered in Boxed Set...

Jesse was the one who taunted the storm so it's her fault.

Ah HA! I had forgotten that. I'm looking at you, missy. 16-30 inches of snow!?! That's a lot of taunting.

Jesse! How dare you! Now I have to shovel!

(though I only probably have 6-8 inches. Still.)

Just chopped up a bunch of overpriced chicken (note to self: stock up on chicken BEFORE the storm. Normally, 10 chicken breasts costs $11. You just spent $22 on 6. Dork.) I'll be making chicken posole tomorrow, since they didn't defrost fast enough. And tomorrow I can walk to the Giant and buy more fresh oregano and garlic which I hadn't realized I was low on.

Why am I watching a thing on Beslan? Jeebus.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Ack! RIO! BE SAFE BEEP!

Am just back from the day of hell.

That is, if hell involves 6 HOURS waiting around in the hospital with your brother's newly-arrived girlfriend from Beijing, because she has been sick for a week and is now borderline starving and retching in the car on the way to the hospital and has poor English and the ER has all the usual suspects in it and you wait for 2.5 hours there and then the triage nurse is very annoyed and then you wait for another 2 hours and then the doctor comes in and goes out and comes in and goes out and when you leave nobody will tell you how to pay, so finally you just leave -- and then you get home and the hospital calls and they say her blood tests show a *really* high white blood cell count and she needs to come back right away OMG -- and just as you're playing rock-paper-scissors with your brother-in-law on who is going back the hospital calls again and says tomorrow would be okay.

And your brother's fiancee seems to like you BEST of all, and so you can't spend the evening curled up in front of your own tv, but must pick up some dvds and go back to your sister's house to watch Northern Exposure and explain why the moose is funny to the girl from Beijing.

OMG so tired.

But at least I'm not vomiting, so things could be worse.

Poor Consuela. That does sound like a horrible, no good, rotten day. I hope tomorrow is better.
