You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Wow. We started getting a few flakes here a half an hour ago, and now the snow is falling like crazy. The street is already covered. Not enough wind to make it a blizzard yet, though.

I am dealing with this state of affairs by having tomato soup and making maple oatmeal bread. All hail the bread machine.

Glad you are ok, Rio. No more iceskating in cars for you, missy!

Well, didn't get to the VEIP. By the time I got out of the shower, the road was covered and I watched one idiot slam on the breaks. Didn't feel like braving the idiots even as the roads weren't that bad.

I have cleaned. I may dust. But I think I'll also make some stew. And maybe do my nails. Tomorrow I'll probably have to shovel, damnit.

Art Crawl!!!

DX -- that sounds like a fine lunch.

Rio -- so glad that you're not hurt and also, very sad that your car is.

And the internet is sucking for me today. Should I blame the snow?

Sure!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

RIO, I AM GLAD YOU ARE OKAY!

I just came back from the chiropractor. Turns out my back is kind of screwed up, so I get to spend part of Monday on the phone with my insurance people seeing how I can get them to pay for physical therapy.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Snow seems to have stopped west of DC. Only 2-3 inches -- I can still see the tops of some of the blades of grass.

Looks more like 6-8 here (B'more), but I haven't gone outside. I'm judging the pileup on my rearview mirrors. It's stopped here now, but I understand there's another mini one coming. Plus winds!

Ick.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

We just had sunshine for about five minutes, but it looks like it might be revving up to snow again. My car is only one of two cars that are still buried on the west side of the street--there are other cars parked on that side, but they're all cleaned off and have been used today (why would anyone want to go out in this weather?). I'm debating if I should pull my shovel out and dig my car out now or wait until tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Turns out my back is kind of screwed up

I was gonna nag you. Turns out I don't have to, but that's not nice news. Very sorry to hear it.
