Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

See, that's how they survived before it was a choice!

(I hope. I lived in shorts and tank tops and sundresses and swimsuits. Not at all sure how my predecessors didn't kill people who told them to wear corsets in that climate.)

(and where I grew up, no humidity. 4000 ft in the desert sw. No moisture to speak of.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, I so totally grabbed the last block of real salted butter at Safeway tonight.

It's for grilled cheese sandwiches, damnit.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Put me in the all-autumn, all-the-time corner with tommyrot and Jilli, please!

It took me two hours to get home. The highway was about the same as the back roads, but everyone was still going 45 miles an hour, so I bailed and took the backroads, where 20 mph was perfectly fine, and I was able to pull over and get the ice off my wiperblades a couple of times. Blah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Butter can live on the table very comfortably.

...except in the heat of summer, when it gets too hot and starts melting and getting nasty JUST LIKE PEOPLE DO.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All you autumn and winter people are nutty. Except for Jilli, since she is wise in terms of the whole Halloween thing.

Also, there is nothing new to entertain me on my television. What movie should I watch?

Lee, have you finished watching your S1 OC dvds?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have. I could rewatch them though.

Hmmm.

You TiVo is empty and your Netflix queue giving you no love?
