Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It is easiest to dress for the cold than to dress for the heat. Also, Autumn is the bestest season....

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

FREAK! Jilli is a freak!

This didn't come as a surprise to you, I hope.

All you people who only want one season are crazy, no matter which season you're picking.

Okay, fine. Half a year of autumn, half a year of spring.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

That's one thing I miss about Philly, even though the summers got too hot at points--four distinct seasons of reasonably even length. Here we just have Heaven and Gray.

(Of course, keep in mind that the summer my a/c died, I survived with a bag of frozen peas on my head and multiple cold baths.)

But give me heat over cold anyways!

Oh, please don't take that as a slam. You're just misguided weatherwise, hon. There are fab outfits for the southwestern gothy-fashion genius, I hope. More hoops? Fans?

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Then you'll never understand me. Unless it's one of those songs where I'll go, "OH, THAT one."

I suspect we're being nutty. They also refrigerate cheese and butter less.

Probably. We've probably also added a whole bunch of things to our eggs that make them unable to cope without refrigeration. I wouldn't be surprised. But butter is all wrong when you forget, and leave it out on the counter.

I love winter.

*shuddering*

I like summer. Summer, summer, summer. No spring, no fall, no winter except in pictures.
Early sunlight, longer days, sun from above, heat, tank tops and open toes.

* tip toes over to go sit with ita, instead.*

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got nothing to say on the weather sara hasn't said well.

Christ. I forgot dinner. Gotta do something quick with a pork chop.

No! Stop sitting with me! My butter is on the counter RIGHT NOW, and it's soft and spreadable and nummy.

I didn't, silly girl.

But but but ... hot! Ew! Humidity! Double-ew!

I've heard that clever clever people have sewn pockets inside their hoop skirts (or regular full skirts), and then put ziplock bags of ice in the pockets to help keep cool. I haven't tried it myself, yet.

Eww. Your butter is wrong. I buy stuff that the scientists made that stays congealed, but is still all soft and spreadable and nummy, and is not a melted mess on my counter. It's called...

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Light

And it's awesome.

Also, all this walking has made me tired, and I'm keeping my seat. You may move, however.
