I like summer. Summer, summer, summer. No spring, no fall, no winter except in pictures.
Xactly! My only change would be you DRIVE to winter. Go skiing. Oogle the mountain lions. Drive home to NO SNOW OR FRIGID COLD.
I'd totally be happy with 365 of summer. Sure, I thought spring in NC (FLOWERS! Dogwood! Azalea!) was gorgeous, but... I can DRIVE to it, right?

No, no, no, silly. 365 of autumn. Crisp days, leaves changing color, and the perfect weather for velvet skirts and jackets. Plus, always Halloween!
FREAK! Jilli is a freak! Autumn? Are you nuts? I need HEAT! Unwilling bake!
All you people who only want one season are crazy, no matter which season you're picking.
I understand intellectually that other people love hot weather, and that I'm even in the minority to hate it, but it's such an energy drain on me that it's hard for me to imagine that anyone could actually feel
more
energetic because of it. As soon as it hits 85, 80 if there's humidity, the air just feels thick, heavy, and wrong, like I have to push against it to get anything done.
Weird for a person who spent her first 18 years in Alabama, though. But even then I wasn't the sun-worshipper most of my friends were. I remember spending big chunks of the summer inside in front of the old window airconditioner, letting the cold air blow across my face. Felt wonderful.
Jesse's a FREAK!'
Summer is the only season! The rest exist to
visit.
Not to exist in...
It is easiest to dress for the cold than to dress for the heat. Also, Autumn is the bestest season....
FREAK! Jilli is a freak!
This didn't come as a surprise to you, I hope.

Okay, fine. Half a year of autumn, half a year of spring.
All you people who only want one season are crazy, no matter which season you're picking.
That's one thing I miss about Philly, even though the summers got too hot at points--four distinct seasons of reasonably even length. Here we just have Heaven and Gray.
(Of course, keep in mind that the summer my a/c died, I survived with a bag of frozen peas on my head and multiple cold baths.)
But give me heat over cold anyways!
