Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

It's snowing up here in Northbrook--I'll be outta here in 15 minutes and hitting the TriState for my drive home. Yippee?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Spinach movie? I don't get that reference.

Kat's theory about selecting books for the curriculum included "spinach books" - books which are good for you because they address an important issue. Not necessarily fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, it's snowing here -- west of Chicago -- enough that the streets and sidewalks have a fresh cover of snow.

Yes, the Snows of Doom are coming from the West....

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Okay. I like that. Will file away for future use.

So, I just got off my lazy butt and went across the office to a window. It's not snowing downtown yet, so it must be on its way soon.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

One of my co-workers recently recieved a red Swingline stapler as a gift. It is probably the most coveted object in our department.

If I only had a brain...

He still can't settle on one excuse. I was playing a part. I was screwed by the editors. Phil was rude to me.

What is even happening?

DH's exit interview with Jonathan and Victoria is up.
You know a contestant on the Amazing Race is a total ass, when someone like me, who does not watch the show, knows who he is .

I'm getting homicidal.

30 minutes in and I STILL haven't found my paystub online (the only way I can get it.) It's a new system. So far? As bad or worse than the old. TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD. Stupid idiot web design, multiple portals you have to go through to do ONE thing.... My company sucks.

Also, the grocery store was mobbed. Lines up every aisle to the meat at the back of the store. But they moved.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I came home from work early due to headache/cramps awfulness and remembered a couple of vicodin left from BF's root canal back in November. I took one and now for the first time in two days I am not in pain, plus I feel all....fuzzy. S'nice, although I wouldn't want to make it, y'know, a habit.

You know what? It just crashed my stupid ie (it won't work on anything else.) Fuck it. I don't need to know how much money is in my account do I?

Every year, they do a poll about what employees think of the site. Every year, people say they hate it, it is unwieldy, etc. Do they do anything? No.

Some of the crash& burns on other projects we work contracts for don't surprise me.
