Huh. We're gettin 6" to 12" of snow. There will be blowing and drifting. At least the worst of it will be on the weekend.
Why do I even bother digging my car out. Same forecast up here in MA. Seems the only time it's getting out of the single digits and teens is so it can drop another foot of snow. Then I wait until it's at least warm enough to dig it out without getting frostbite. Next day or so, more snow. Rinse, lather, repeat. Meh. I used to like winter.
Also, 826 Valencia is hiring. If I wanted to go back North and I wanted to come out of the classroom and still work with kids, that would be an ideal job.
I have "Uses for Lard" and "Goals for the Voyage" hanging on my bulletin board in my classroom. Love it.

I will take Zach, for lo, he did suggest that Seth hook up with a guy. And sounded like he thought it was a good idea. Perhaps even like he had one in mind.

I discovered yesterday that we can blame my mother for all of the snow here in MA. See, each time my parents make a big change in their lives (a move to another state, a job change, etc.) it snows...and this is their "proof" from above that they're making the right decision.
Well, right now my mom is between jobs. She keeps taking all of this snow as a positive sign that she's moving in the right direction, etc. So, each time it snows, I blame her. Feel free to do the same.
I think we should all rename ourselves after common household products. I hereby dub P-C "Pushy Broom".

Bwah! The thing that cracks me up most about mom's snow excitement is that she does most of the shoveling/snow-blowing. So, she knows what a pain in the ass it is. Still, she sees each snow as a "sign."
I'm not really making fun of her. There is a long line of snow coming right at the right time for our big family decisions (and snow at weird times...like May). I just think it's so funny that she's using it right now when it's snowing like every. other. day.
