Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

And I was wrong on the Mekhi front - full story.

I have a small event tonight that I should be working on. But that means carrying things around and the cold weather is making me all achy. Bah.

Better get to it anyway.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And I was wrong on the Mekhi front - full story.

Yow! Maybe the statement was taken out of context. What Sam L. actually said was he wouldn't take projects with "rappers who act [like dumbasses.]"

Okay, Mekhi is off the list. When the Rapture comes, I'm not saving him.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

When the Rapture comes, I'm not saving him.

When the Rapture comes, I'm gonna get me a free car.

I'm fascinated by The Rapture and I like to use it as reference point. I tell people, "You're off The List" to let them know not expect me in my Salvation Bus to pick them off should The Rapture happen.

My Salvation Bus looks a lot like the Mystery Machine.

I like the spinach descriptor as used by Kat. (And I'm not just saying that because she's making Rapture decisions this morning.)

I can't even.

I hate finding out about major major potentially disasterous changes (that I argued vehemently against abou 18 months ago) are still going forward at the same time our clients do.

I really do.

Add to it the people making the changes aren't even aware of that the changes will break.....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think it is a spinachy movie, Kat, but SLJ does it with admirable conviction -- or so I've read.

and Jen, I even LIKE spinach.

But when I'm picking books for kids to read as part of a program that gives awards based on pleasure-reading, I want the books that kids like, not the ones that they should read because they are Good For Kids.

In the new nominees for middle school, there's one fun book, one heartwrenching book and one spinach.

In high school nominees, there are NO spinach books.

In the picture books, all of the nominees are spinach -- holocaust, segregation and vietnam war are the topics. Doesn't that scream spinach.
