Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Emily!

How are you doing, Billytea?

Swouncing

Just adding my post to all those who are happy to 'see' billytea.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The day that brought us Emily is a magnificent day indeed.

The whole time billytea was here in San Francisco, I had to stifle myself from acting on an unaccountable urge to cosset and pet him; for some reason, being in his presence had exactly the same emotional effect on me as being in the presence of a large, beautiful, slightly mournful golden retriever. I wanted terribly to pet his head and feed him things and give him a warm hearth to lie down in front of, possibly on a blue and green braided rug. And now I am feeling exactly the same way. Curse this cursed giant body of water!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Billytea. It is good to see you around these parts.

ION, it is raining like a Mofo here and windy, the kind of weather we rarely get. Driving will not be fun.

Happy birthday, Emily! It's been far too long since we've hung out.

Sorry, Peaches, You will have to wait for shrift to come around for that one.

Aaaaand days later, I check in. See, I had some time off, so I spent most of it sleeping. And reading. And randomly chatting with Dana.

I only have to work three days this week. My boss isn't here. I'm impatiently waiting for my birthday to roll around so I can go spend money, which I'm not allowed to do until the don't-buy-yourself-anything moratorium ends. My diamond shoes, they pinch so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Emily! And thanks to all for my birthday wishes.

Here's hoping today is better for the Family Burrell, and Kalshane, and billytea.

I had a great trip home -- it felt quick, but nice. And then my parents drove me back! So they got to see my apartment and my neighborhood. We were going to go to my local museum today, but it didn't open til noon, so we just had a great breakfast at the local luncheonette, and they just left. Nice!

Happy Birthday Emily!

I've been making it to work within 15 minutes of my target time for the last two weeks. But this plan wouldn't work at any office where my cousin isn't the first person I see, as my instinct is to brutally murder anyone who chirps "good morning" at me before 10am.

My brother. We were separated at birth, separated by years, by states... and yet? Still twins.
