The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Billytea. It is good to see you around these parts.

ION, it is raining like a Mofo here and windy, the kind of weather we rarely get. Driving will not be fun.

Happy birthday, Emily! It's been far too long since we've hung out.

Sorry, Peaches, You will have to wait for shrift to come around for that one.

Aaaaand days later, I check in. See, I had some time off, so I spent most of it sleeping. And reading. And randomly chatting with Dana.

I only have to work three days this week. My boss isn't here. I'm impatiently waiting for my birthday to roll around so I can go spend money, which I'm not allowed to do until the don't-buy-yourself-anything moratorium ends. My diamond shoes, they pinch so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Emily! And thanks to all for my birthday wishes.

Here's hoping today is better for the Family Burrell, and Kalshane, and billytea.

I had a great trip home -- it felt quick, but nice. And then my parents drove me back! So they got to see my apartment and my neighborhood. We were going to go to my local museum today, but it didn't open til noon, so we just had a great breakfast at the local luncheonette, and they just left. Nice!

Happy Birthday Emily!

I've been making it to work within 15 minutes of my target time for the last two weeks. But this plan wouldn't work at any office where my cousin isn't the first person I see, as my instinct is to brutally murder anyone who chirps "good morning" at me before 10am.

My brother. We were separated at birth, separated by years, by states... and yet? Still twins.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Ya know, if you borrowed my red shirt, you and Matt could dress alike.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ahahahaha! Chicago!

Also, I could wear the hell out of your red shirt, even if Hecubus resents my shirt-wearing.
