It's from Dr. Who. I really haven't watched much Dr. Who, but I believe the Daleks are a race of cranky sentient trash cans that go around and threaten people in upper case.
Hmm. They sound like internet users. Thanks, Gud. You're really helping me out a lot today.
Now I just need to learn who all these UK people are, and I'm golden.
And just a warning about pink tools: Make sure the tools themselves aren't crappy.
Yeah, I was wondering about that, especially since they're so cheap. I haven't the faintest idea how to check that, so I was going to ask my mom. She went to mom school, and therefore knows everything.
She went to mom school, and therefore knows everything.
I applied to that school, because I want to know everything too, but they have this weird gender/being-an-actual-mom bias and turned me down.
I'm thinking of suing.
My main issue is the hammers. Because I'm not that strong, but a heavy hammer used correctly does the work for you. As I learned from my dad. A crappy little hammer, and I might as well just use my shoe.
I am not sure why I am obessed with hammers.
I am not sure why I am obessed with hammers.
Because you think everything is a nail?
I am not sure why I am obessed with hammers.
If you had a hammer, would you hammer in the evening?
One of my friends has that pink toolbox thingy. Most of them aren't great quality, but they're fine for things like tightening loose screws on cabinets or nailing up picture hooks and things like that.
See, if you think of it as their last chance to play in their shared universe together and going overboard with the toys, you feel better about the whole thing. Or at least, I do.
I...I...I'll try.
Huh. I thought it was a plot by the homosexual lobby.
They've taken the lobby? So
that's
what was first on that agenda.
All your problems look like nails?
Hammers are good things. We like hammers. We like multi-head screwdriver sets even more, but we need hammers to start the holes for screws to go into.
signed,
grew up using a nail, soap, and a hammer instead of a drill. This would be why I like power tools to this day.
tommyrot and juliana, you've both given me a lot to think about.
But actually? I think it's because I can use a butter knife as a screwdriver, but a hammer makes a difference.
