brenda, even though that would have been more satisfying, I really do wish someone had yielded them because "what a pair of assholes. Abusive fuck and whiney whiner."

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Re TAR:

I am disappointed that J&V tried to be all Tony Robbins with each other at the end. I was really hoping for a total howler-monkey-feces-flinging breakdown.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me too, Anne. I was kind of hoping for one last blow-out, not all nicey-nice face with the kids and bullshit.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I still like Veronica Mars, but I had class on Tuesdays last semester, so I only caught it if I remember to tape it. But I'm up to date on all the recaps, and on all the recaps for TAR, too, even though I've never seen it.

I think I will watch TAR, just because of the white font. How exciting. Thanks, guys!

Also, also: It's time to talk about food now. Last night I had steak and a baked sweet potato, with butter and brown sugar. Tonight, I'm having lemon chicken and brown rice, and there were going to be peas, but I got lazy. I love not having homework, and being home early enough to cook. It is totally awesome. Of course, the night before that I was going to have BBQ chicken pizza, but because I got too lazy to make the chicken, I just had BBQ pizza, but even that was good. Food is great.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Owen Wilson (who was in Armdageddon). Luke Wilson (who was in an episode of The X Files).

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yeah, Owen. I like 'em a little rough around the edges.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that was disappointing. And a Yield would certainly have caused some fireworks.

OTOH, Adam and Rebecca were really bugging me, so I was laughing at Freddy and Kendra actually beating them despite being yielded.

She certainly managed another lovely comment, though her interactions with actual people were a lot nicer.

Glad also that they showed some of the beauty of Ethiopia, and just in general set up the leg with some respect. That chuch was fascinating, I feel the need for some googling coming on.

Anne and Jesse, yeah. But given all the niceynicey I've seen elsewhere (yeah, I'm spoiled, I was that desperate ) I didn't expect it.

Not good people, either of them. I honestly don't think any human should be subjected to that shit that J inflicted. However, I didn't like V for crap either. She needs a spine, regardless of her shitty choices.

OK, yep, the Owen brothers. Big dorks, but still OK. Which I don't get, so totally not my ill defined type. Makes no sense.

Mmm. Gotta love a good dork, I do. Of course, the definition of "good" in this case is a bit hard to pin down, but still. Mandatory love.

My dorks are usually qualified with not-blond, not-pale. It's a thing. Been a few exceptions that mystify me. OK, actor wise a few. Actual people I interact with, well, that's more explainable. Probably growing up where I did, where the definition of attractive leaned towards darker hair and not-my-pale-freckled-skin. God I wanted olive skin and black hair forEVER.
