Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am off VM now, Ali, but there are other (misguided, naturally) souls here that still like it. I don't think it's that hard to pick up either now or later.

TAR: HOT DAMNED! I will keep watching now. HAHAHAH! About damned time. Yes! Thank you! Phil should have been VICIOUS.

Also, Adam and Rebecca continue to amuse me with their dysfunction. I'm a horrid person.

I must admit to finding the Wilson brothers (there is more than one, I think? Or I'm talking about a whole other brothers) OK. The only thing I liked about Armageddon was the goofy geologist, who I think was a Wilson. Totally not someone I'd want to deal with on a regular basis, but very very amusing in the meantime.

This probably says something bizarre about me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

TAR: Not only that (whoo-hoo!) but it was also a pretty tightly paced, intense leg, aside from the initial bunch-up. They've still got it - I was beginning to wonder. And I was really glad that J&V didn't get eliminated because of a Yield, but because of their own fuck-up.

Sorry.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Alibelle! Watch VM, now and forever. Also, I've finally posted the best story from India.

brenda, even though that would have been more satisfying, I really do wish someone had yielded them because "what a pair of assholes. Abusive fuck and whiney whiner."

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Re TAR:

I am disappointed that J&V tried to be all Tony Robbins with each other at the end. I was really hoping for a total howler-monkey-feces-flinging breakdown.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me too, Anne. I was kind of hoping for one last blow-out, not all nicey-nice face with the kids and bullshit.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I still like Veronica Mars, but I had class on Tuesdays last semester, so I only caught it if I remember to tape it. But I'm up to date on all the recaps, and on all the recaps for TAR, too, even though I've never seen it.

I think I will watch TAR, just because of the white font. How exciting. Thanks, guys!

Also, also: It's time to talk about food now. Last night I had steak and a baked sweet potato, with butter and brown sugar. Tonight, I'm having lemon chicken and brown rice, and there were going to be peas, but I got lazy. I love not having homework, and being home early enough to cook. It is totally awesome. Of course, the night before that I was going to have BBQ chicken pizza, but because I got too lazy to make the chicken, I just had BBQ pizza, but even that was good. Food is great.

Owen Wilson (who was in Armdageddon). Luke Wilson (who was in an episode of The X Files).

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yeah, Owen. I like 'em a little rough around the edges.
