Oh dear, I'm having flashbacks.
Not terribly informative or helpful ones, mind you. Mostly the part about remembering the classroom and how it is really hard to surreptitiously fight falling asleep when there are a grand total of 3 other students in the class.
Does the hivemind have any opinion as to why Bessel function of the zero order with the boundary conditions of zero and infinity should be one? How is the diverging being dealt with? Should it be decorated with glitter? If it had hair, which color should it use? Sigh.
Is the caveolin-mediated transport of potassium channels to lipid rafts dependent on any lipid interactions? Does the sphingolipid content of caveolae affect channel function? How do ATP-sensitive potassium channels differ in their response to phosphotidylinositols (and their derivatives) from inward rectifiers? Do statin drugs really watch Oprah?

I think the whole problem is that Bessel turned her back on her true love because he was too common, and now she realizes her mistake, but it's too late, as her true love joined the foreign legion out of his dispair and was killed by pirates. But what Bessel does not know is that her true love is still alive!

Sorry Nilly. I'm horrible at differential equations.
Today's my first day of class. Last semester, I had all my classes on Tuesday and Thursday, with teaching on Wednesday, and Monday and Friday totally free. This semester, my classes are spread out over the whole week (well, maybe not Monday, depending on which class I end up taking for my third class.) I'm not sure which schedule I like better.
sara, I totally don't mind my students falling alseep. As long as they don't snore out loud.
Also, sorry for throwing out large math-y words on the screen. Still frustrated and feeling dumb, but at least you guys made me smile about it. So thanks, as well.

Okay. System is back up. The switch the servers were on apparently locked up. Life is better.
