Doesn't that gigantic airbus plane sound like a disaster movie waiting to happen?

Olive oil helped a bit -- enough to keep me away from the nail guns until I could hear again, at least.
Okay. But if this is only to see if I'll do it so you can point and laugh and be like, ALLYSON IS A BIG SALAD HEAD I'm totally going to start prank calling you and giving your number out to crazyass Cordy fans.
If not, then thanks for the tip!
Argh! "Yes, I know one of our systems is down. That's why I sent out a public e-mail about it 30-frickin' minutes ago. Stop calling me!" (sighs) I hate working the help desk whenever we have a system problem. The phone rings non-stop with "Is t system x down?" and then once it feels like I've spoken to each of the 500+ people in the building personally I start getting the "Do you know when it will be back up?" calls. Check your damn e-mail. Everything I know is already in there. I will send out another e-mail when I know more.

Try putting a couple of drops of olive oil in the ear, and keep your head tilted for a few minutes afterwards. I know, but really, try it.
If the olive oil is a bit warm, it's even better. Not hot, just a bit warm.
I'm stuck with something that I know should be easy (because the book treats it like it's an obvious and no-problem step from one side of the equation to the other, and all the other steps were easy-no-problem ones), and still, I can't solve it. Silly brain. Does the hivemind have any opinion as to why Bessel function of the zero order with the boundary conditions of zero and infinity should be one? How is the diverging being dealt with? Should it be decorated with glitter? If it had hair, which color should it use? Sigh.
Sorry, Nilly. This particular component of the hivemind is left going "Huh?" and blinking dazedly.
Nilly, the answer is x = blue.
everything in high levels of math either equals zero or one.
Part of the school has no heat today, they did not cancel school, they put classes in various places around the building. Lucky for me, there are two different classes being taught in the library (right outside my office) all day. I really should just close my door and draw teh blinds so I am not distracted.
Kalshane, thanks for the sympathy, anyway.
x = blue
But Allyson, I can't put that back in the equation. It's probably because I've never used nail polish or hair color, isn't it? When I really need to use the colors, I don't know how.
Does the hivemind have any opinion as to why Bessel function of the zero order with the boundary conditions of zero and infinity should be one?
Because 2 is too big?
Does the hivemind have any opinion as to why Bessel function of the zero order with the boundary conditions of zero and infinity should be one?
Oh dear, I'm having flashbacks.
Not terribly informative or helpful ones, mind you. Mostly the part about remembering the classroom and how it is really hard to surreptitiously fight falling asleep when there are a grand total of 3 other students in the class.
