Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Great apartment, ND. Love all the bookshelves and books. With real furniture and, more importantly, real, framed art on the walls, it's like you're all grown up or something. Wow.

Our wings are not tired

I've been in a messed up holding pattern for almost 4 years. I moved into a three bedroom with two roommates to save money. It was the right move, but it was like living in a frat house. Previous to that I had a townhouse all to my self, and that's what most of the art and such is from.

I have hopes to be similarly all-grown-up some day. I have some artwork, but it's unframed and, for the most part, hidden somewhere at my mom's house. She took it when I went to grad school, and hasn't been able to find it to return it since. I had some really nice stuff. It's one of the many benefits of having an artist best friend in college.

I begin to wonder if it's found and living on walls, not mine.

I made a deal with myself when I moved out to Ohio for grad school that I don't put anything on the walls unless it is framed. I just got so tired of feeling like I was living in a dorm room.

Then when I worked for Disney I got a bunch of limited and numbered editions of stuff as an employee and that's a lot of what's up now.

Nifty. I suppose the Disney angle precludes showing details online, huh.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Noise, that looks like a great apartment. Very cool.

Kat, this didn't occur to me before, but is Kuma on any steroidy-like stuff for his thyroid? Cause 'roid made Goober, the most subordinate dog ever, try to challenge the cats.

he's on synthetic thyroid meds. I think that's what's going on. His thyroid levels were almost 50% over what they should have been.,

It's all stuff I can show. I just need to run around with the camera and snap photos. I need to clean the kitchen from the party but once I do that I may take some more pictures later this evening.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I really need to stop checking my email to see if my exam results were reported yet. If I don't have them by now, I'm not going to have them today. And yet? I keep checking, every five minutes.

I said that I wouldn't have anything unframed on my walls once I wasn't living in a dorm anymore. Right now, that means that I have nothing on my walls, because everything I own that's framed is still at my parents' house, and I haven't bought and framed anything new since I moved here.
