Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Cinnamon buns have been achieved! Also much catching up in the Lost thread.

Also, when there's a blizzard and your boss says "don't worry about coming in today" it doesn't matter if some of the buses start running again in the afternoon. Right? 'Cause it would probably take all afternoon to get there anyway. t /desperate self-justification

Stay home, you never know when the weather could take another nasty turn.

I have to figure out if my yoga class is cancelled.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Allyson, if it's OK to ask, are you stressing already for the "Lost" party?

Registration opens on Friday. After I go for a nice walk, I have to draft a press release and start shopping for decor.

Swouncing

A walk is an excellent way to start this. I do hope you'll get to enjoy this one, as well as do an amazing job on it.

Ouise, yup, home.

To which I have to go soon.

And I have yoga! It's like a normal Monday for me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I should go grocery shopping, and maybe to the bookstore, since I have no food and nothing to read. But it's cold outside, and I don't feel like getting dressed.

An excellent point! I know I can always count on Buffistas to bolster any self-justification I've got going on.

Allyson, I feel silly wishing you good luck, because you're so amazingly accomplished with organizing fan events that you hardly need it, but I'll send you the good luck anyway.

Awwwww!!! That's such a nice thing to say. I feel a thousand times better with Kristen on board, and so many good folk jumping up to say they'll help out.

The producers have been more helpful than the Buffy/Angel producers, which I thought was impossible because they were so uber-supportive.

When we were scrambling about finding a new date because ABC ordered another episode, they called Hawaii for us to help us pinpoint a date where we'd be able to catch the actors coming back from the sets.

I was all, "you can't really help because ABC might get miffed" to one of the assistants. She said, "I'm not helping as an employee, I'm a fan too, so whatever you need, call me."

And then the charity was just so excited. "What do you need us to do?"

I told them I just need them to show up and accept the money, then receipt people.

Silence.

"THANK YOU!!!"

So it's been encouraging all the way through. I'm just concerned about getting enough signups, because it's such a new fandom, and really, I think people don't pay 2k (flight, hotel, food, ticket, auction, fancy frocks) to fly out to meet a couple of actors and producers, they do that because they want to spend time with each other, too.

I'm not sure if that kind of bonding has happened in the fandom, yet.

Oh! And from all accounts, Maya did a great job in Tampa. Suz Brockmann was happy, the fans were thrilled, and they raised 3k for breast cancer research.

Wow, that's great!
