So, those underwears (sorry -- channelling My Cousin Vinny, I guess) are very cute, and all, but are they realistic? Am I the only one thinking that them being all up high on the buttock would rather emphasize how much is, shall we say, below them on women who do not have the buttocks of underwear models?

I have not the buttocks of underwear models, and actually, big curvy butts look pretty cute in them. IMO. (I like my butt, though. YButtMV.)
Flat butts, NSM.
The last gift I gave at a shower was a Lucy sportswear certificate -- she had two other friends there, and also snagged a sex guide and VS certificate. Family of the groom? Shopped off the registry, though one did buy this in cans to accompany the glassware.
The one before that ... I think her mother had thrown away her S&M stuff in a pre-wedding raid, so I replaced her riding crop. Mother VERY unhappy.
LJ seems to be on clean power, but not up.
And I need to back away from the F5 key.
Those undies are pretty, but look like they'd become horribly uncomfortable in about thirty seconds.
ita, take your ta-ta-s to Nordstrom's lingerie department. or so said Deb.
He he. The musical backing up is actually the most annoying thing ever, despite how cool it may sound.
I believe it. But it still sounds really cool.
Thanks, sarameg!
None of those undies appeal to me in the slightest. Surprisingly, I'm super picky about underwear. Which is really a shocker, I know, considering the fact that I'm not at all picky about anything else. But I rate comfort extremely highly, and prettiness is just the teensiest bit below it. And basically, anything with lace or ruffles tends to get discarded fairly quickly. Underwire is not even a remote possibility. And stockings of all sorts are uncomfortable, so I avoid those too, unless I'm going to dance class.
And yet for shoes, prettiness is the most important, with comfort just the teensiest bit less important. I mean, I will buy shoes that are pretty, but I won't necessarily wear them more than twice if they hurt.
Hmm. I wonder why the prettiness/comfort scale gets adjusted for each item. You'd think the standards would remain pretty consistent.

Nope. I need CLOTHES to be comfy, but underwear and shoes? NSM. But I do tailor comfort to situations. Uncomfortable undies and shoes are NOT for class or work. Only for going out, when I figure I can numb my butt or feet with wine.

For bras, my standards are support, then comfort, then prettiness. I'd like to be able to buy pretty bras, but I've pretty much realized that my choice is either a bra that looks pretty when my shirt is off or a bra that looks good when my shirt is on, and unfortunately, I've got far more use for the latter. For all underwear other than bras, comfort is first, with prettiness also important.
