'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

Happy Boxing day, St. Stephens day and whatever other holidays it may be.

The sing along Fiddler on the Roof had a good portions of the Jews in Olympia. The costumes were amazing. The local Rabbi totally caught Tevye. (Actually he looks like a younger, thinner version of actor who played Tevye. Put it this way; attendance among women definitely increased at our local temple when he took over.)

Happy Birthday Jesse, Theodosia, Rayne! Happy Boxing Day and a glorious full moon (it's the smallest of the year) to us all.

Happy Birthday to Jesse, Theodosia and Rayne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So are the New England Buffistas getting snow right now? They're predicting a Nor'Easter for us tomorrow, and you guys usually have our weather about 24 hours before we get it.

Oh, and I skipped like a 50 ft Hec in Dirndl.

I hope everyone had a happy Christmas and are braving the Boxing Day sales.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Happy Birthday to Jesse, Theodosia and Rayne!!!!!!!

We aren't getting it yet, but we will be starting this afternoon. I am still at the part of the year where I love Nor'easters. By March, nsm.

The iPod story is getting less cute. I'm having an ungodly time trying to convince what was once Dave's iPod that it wants to connect to a PC instead of his sleek little Powerbook (we had both already formatted and set up the iPods before we decided to switch). He gloated at me for hours last night about the fact that his Mac had no issues with the switchover, while my PC keeps screwing it up.

We just got into a hell of a fight this morning because he kept trying to do it "for me" (hanging over my shoulder when I'm at my laptop without an express invitation to do so is one of my biggest pet peeves), and he stomped off to go do errands with my mom when I told him he was treating me like I was five. Since he left, I thought I'd found the problem (bad USB to iPod cable) and am using the other cable...now it sees the iPod but has spent the last ten minutes attempting to reset it.

I will figure this out. This iPod will be mine. Oh yes.

Oh, and did I mention the Christmas tree fell over this morning? This may have something to do with our post-Christmas blahs.

ETA: FredPete, I'm so sorry to hear about Hubs. Please send him my well-wishes.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy birthdays Jesse, Theo, Rayne, CindyMama, and Boxing!

Can't say better than amych, so I'll just quote her. Imagine me pointing and nodding.

Oh, Fred. So sorry Hubs is sick. Here's hoping yours is just a little passing thing, but good for you for getting it checked out.

(((Cindy))) Good on your DH and Mom for supporting you through that. I know what runaway panic can do. I hate it, and it's so easy to feel responsible, and then guilty AND responsible, on top of having been sandbagged by one's brain chemistry. There's no good there--except that you actually weren't dying of a heart attack, that part's really fantastically good. So it's wonderful that the people who love you have your back.

::Waving at Laura, whom I almost never see, and miss::

Kristin! The Ipod story was so cute. And I so get the "don't help unless I ask for it" for the DH, too.

ION, I have a sore throat. I want ice cream. A whole elephant full of ice cream. But I'm probably going to settle for toast and tea.
