What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Then there's a personal irritation, problematic, which does not mean full of problems, no matter how it sounds.

Huh. I didn't know that.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I misuse words all the time. I have almost stopped caring. word hell awaits me.

people do not want to come to my events. I don't take this personally as the pool of people I am inviting have been basically neglected for years, but it makes having events very hard. If I can't get people to attend a FREE cocktail how will we ever get people to a $200/person dinner?

I can't even.

I have a long and impassioned rant on the subject of hopefully, as well as on the use of "gift" as a verb and "notorious" for someone other than Al Capone and his ilk. Then there's a personal irritation, problematic, which does not mean full of problems, no matter how it sounds.

Hee. Ginger is me. I'm annoyed by the verbifying of nouns in general, except when we do it. Also, momentarily. "The doors will be closing momentarily." Holy shit! Where should I stand so I don't fall out when they open again?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ugh. msbelle, I feel your pain.

Ginger, what does problematic mean?

See. We need either a Buffista Usage Guide. Or at least a Groundhog Day topic where we can rehash ad infinitum (or at least to 10,000 posts) these topics.

I love when people write the sample bad sentences and I see nothing wrong with them.

Incredibly overworked like whoa.

Clearly, if you are only just recently getting up. Bastards.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

This conversation is making me nauseous.

"Do not say 'I feel nauseous' unless you are certain you have that effect on others."

Problematic means "open to doubt or debate."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

River's ice planet is open to doubt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

maybe I should take Krav if for no other reason than I could (possibly) protect myself

The first two levels concentrate on how to kick and punch the simplest ways, and how to get out of basic chokes and bear hugs. It's flexible, because there's room for obsessives, and room for people who want to feel a bit safer.
