I wonder if tomorrow I should... buy shoes?

I'm pretty sure the shoes would love it. It's almost as if you owe it to them, or something.

Almost, Nilly. It's like my job or something. But I'm also not feeling the need for new shoes. What I should buy instead are storage containers for chrismukkah ornaments. And another white tree. And maybe something else to be named at a later date.

Oh, I see the important difference now.

I totally need to buy new shoes. Wanna buy shoes with me? That way I'll be made to do it.

white tree

Why is the tree white?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Kristin, that's DARLING!

I have decided that this is the LAST year we attempt to mold our schedules around other people. Next Christmas, the mofos are coming to us.

Consumables: champers, scotch (Plei, do you know of Ladoig? Nummy.)

I shall remember it for next year. Or, you know, ask you to remind me.

We have to go set our memory foam mattress pad on the bed and crash now. Merry last bits of Christmas!

I saw ND tonight. It was great. He was all smiles and happiness from his trip out East. I was very glad to see him.

Julia gave this very nice gray hoodie for Christmas. I am so far beyond touched by being able to work with her. I also met her adorable daughter. Today was a good day. Even if I was falling asleep in the booth.

I have nice happy thoughts about PMM and her DH arranging the shcedule of their next Christmas around the whims of an adorable healthy baby.

Today was a good day.

Excellent.

minus the pesky foreign travel.

Time-space continuum standing in the way of shoes. Sigh.

Cereal, but I was waiting until it became the 26th in the board's time, to make sure everybody is covered, because according to the Buffista Calendar, it's a triple (!) Buffista birthday. Yup, not one, not two, but three very lovely ladies celebrate their birthday today: Jesse, Theodosia, and Rayne.

Happy brthday to each and every one of them, with lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

It's true. I am smiling, and relaxed, and I can feel it all through my body right now.

Great to see you tonight Sean.

I can't even.

t waves

Posting from the parental computer. They have a dell, but a relatively recent one.

And it isn't 3am here! Posting to the west coast from the mountain time zone, so much less painful.

Christmas was very nice and there was much spoiling (in the traditional sense) all around. I got a pile of dvds including the Live Aid concert and a BNL behind the scenes/concert disc.

Well, it is supposed to be -33C here tomorrow and the 2-5cm forecast snow has already been exceeded tenfold, so no Boxing Day sales for us tomorrow. It will be a day for looking out at the elements and going "Man, I'm glad I'm not out in that." However, the cold weather warning is lifting for Monday, and it is supposed to be up around Freezing on Tuesday-Wednesday.

I'm going to take in some junior hockey this week (they have a great annual international tournament for under-17s) but that's about all I have planned.
