Theodosia, did you see my post about how you should go to the Desert musuem if you have time? It is a living musuem, with fun animals and cool cactii and is very cool.
hey do people have a long weekend?
I do, I do! I am probably going to work some anyway, but it will be from home, in my lounging pjs, and possibly preceded by going out for pancakes or crepes, if I can entice anybody to join me.
Will & Emma! Woo Hoo! What color is Emma's hair these days? They are really digging Bisbee, it seems. I bet Will is gonna end up Mayor.
Lee -- I've been to the Desert Museum twice before... and as it happens, I'm going to leave almost immediately for there!!!
Didn't mean to get online for so long, but I was searching high and low for my glasses and having lunch and stuff. Now it's into the rented car (I've already put like 200+ miles on it!) and off to the West....
I swear that if I ever get married, finding a reception place will be the hardest part because I find so many things tacky.
What'd you think of our reception place?
I've got MLK day off, but I'll have to work this weekend since covernig for Irresponsible Boss has put me behind on all my year-end duties.
No MLK day off here. I'm at that nasty point where the next day we're closed is Memorial Day.
your place was really nice.

Oh, that's terrible. I've got 4 months with no holidays in them, but none of them are contiguous. Being in a city with a strongly Catholic culture definitely has its advantages.

Yeah, me too. Luckily, I have 5 weeks' worth of PTO. I foresee a few "mental health" days coming up....
I've got Presidents' Day, but not MLK. Coworkers do not, they have the long NYE to Memorial Day haul, BUT ....they have a discretionary holiday so don't feel sorry for them and besides they get 5 weeks paid vacation, rolled over and accruable up to something ridiculous like 9 months, so REALLY don't feel sorry for them.
