I kind of thought that the singing was totally gratuitous. But the
eavesdropping was completely in line with her obsession. I suppose that's why it didn't surprise me.
Weatherwise here: last week we had that heavy snow warning (and my town did get approximately 8"), last night/this morning -- the ice warnings and guess what? Flood warnings for tomorrow and thursday. After which the temps are supposed to drop to subzero. It's really ridiculous.
I'm totally drooling over the Mini Mac, too.
I want one so very much. Can I really justify it when I just bought a Dell a few months ago? I don't think so. I mean, I converted to Linux, so that would probably take much of the zing away from converting to Mac. But I really want one.
It may very well be
in line with her obsession -- but that means I just hadn't realised earlier that she's a selfish little brat, about whom I can no longer give a fuck. That's reprehensible behaviour in my book. And even if she pays for it later, it's too late for me. That's no way to act. Buffy boffing Spike in back alleys was much more understandable and forgivable for me. Hell, even Angel and the wine cellar. MAL LIKING INARA -- you see where I'm going?
I think I was sold the minute I read this:
Set a space-saving Mac mini atop your workstation PC and add a KVM switch to share keyboard, monitor and mouse.
The Salon piece just got me to admit it.
I need to forward that review to my co-worker. He will snap, and his wife will never forgive me.
Hi.
It didn't rain at all today. This excites me much more than it should. It is, in fact, my happy thing.
Set a space-saving Mac mini atop your workstation PC and add a KVM switch to share keyboard, monitor and mouse.
If I'm saving this much space, and getting the shiny too, why would I keep the PC? Really, 'cause I'm trying to talk myself into this. I just got a raise, and part of me would like to spend it all (and some non-raise money) in one place. Although I'll probably be good and not.
And no rain is a good thing. Of course, I live where it rains all the time, so my perspective may be a bit warped.
See, no matter what, I can't really get rid of my PC. (At least not any time soon. Unless I win the lottery.) I had been pondering an iBook but I think this would be a better deal for me.
I'd want to keep my Dell laptop for some things, like certain math programs and a bunch of other things that seem to work better on a PC, and use the Mini Mac mostly for music and photo and video stuff.
