I am so happy we haven't had a big snow yet. Today's forecast is for winter mix though, which could get really messy.

crick in my neck from sleeping weird.

I'm under the delusion that we won't get much snow this year.

Please don't try to convince me otherwise.

I wish my newspaper carrier would either manage to get the paper to me by 7 am or at all OR whoever stole this morning's paper gets papercuts and walks around with a newsprint smear on their face all day. Second morning in a row where I didn't get to read the paper.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Edain, and Nilly, who isn't really here.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I am so happy we haven't had a big snow yet.

The only pair of waterproof shoes I own has a big hole in one of the soles, so not so waterproof any more.

Over the weekend, I ordered a new pair of shoes from www.fryeboots.com. I paid extra for fast shipping. Yesterday, I received an email from them that said "The item you have ordered is in stock". Uhm, thanks guys. It still hasn't shipped.

I'm going to have cold, wet feet tonight when I get home.

It's supposed to be 10C here on Thursday! I'm hoping it will melt the snow/ice on my driveway so I won't have to shovel.

Coding and Sleeping

We've got a little freezing rain here, but not too bad.

Tom, get a plastic bag and either tape it down to the inside of your boot , or put your foot into it before putting on the boot and you should be a little drier.

Paper stealers are horrible people.

Also? I couldn't get the shoes I really wanted from them, because they came in brown only and not black. How crazy is that?

I can't even.

Gronklies. I am caffeine-less. I must rectify.

Wow, I'm so out of it, I thought I posted this 15 minutes ago and went to read LJ.

And yet, I still have nothing. Work seems to be blocking ICQ or there's a problem with ICQ2GO. Either way, one of my windows to the outside world isn't there.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This is part of how my mother used to dress us for playing in the snow. Socks, breadsack, shoes... gloves, breadsack, mittens. It worked.

brenda, feel better so you can join us for Gino's this evening.
