Tom, get a plastic bag and either tape it down to the inside of your boot , or put your foot into it before putting on the boot and you should be a little drier.

This is part of how my mother used to dress us for playing in the snow. Socks, breadsack, shoes... gloves, breadsack, mittens. It worked.

I couldn't get the shoes I really wanted from them, because they came in brown only and not black. How crazy is that?

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.

Come to think of it, why do they even make brown footwear?

now don't go crazy, brown has its place. I own at least 6 pairs of brown shoes.

I have a Farscape question too. I've watched about 8 episodes from the first season now. I like the premise, and I liked one or two of the episodes, but have been kind of meh about most of them. Would people advise me to keep watching, if I am meh at this point (do things get better?) or should I just chalk it up as not for me and stop?

Also, if you get black duct tape, you can get the brown shoes and then... upgrade the color.
