'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Gronk. Timelies. I feel like such ass today - my back is killing me and I'm just feeling all wonky. And today is not a good day to not go to work, so I guess I'm stuck.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

t passes coffee and morphine to Brenda

I'm hoping to get some, you know, actual work done. Or really I'm not hoping at all, but I have a vague sense that I'm supposed to.

My 8:30 meeting called a few minutes ago to say that he's stuck in traffic and won't be there until at least 9. It's so nice to be able to be gracious when inside I'm all "thank you god."

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day is another nice comet picture, taken a few days ago as it was passing the Pleiades cluster. [link]

Megan, give me an update of all your health issues from the neck up, please.

DavidS, sorry for the late response!

My eyes are blinking almost in unison and I can almost smile! I'm going to the ENT next week, the one that did my sinus surgery, and he's going to check out my ear and see if I need to go for a hearing test. Hopefully when I'm there, I can get him to look up my nose.

I woke up this morning to snow. A lot of it.

Eventually, I'll dig into my inbox and voicemail. Maybe after lunch. Definitely after I get more coffee.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am so happy we haven't had a big snow yet. Today's forecast is for winter mix though, which could get really messy.

crick in my neck from sleeping weird.

I'm under the delusion that we won't get much snow this year.

Please don't try to convince me otherwise.

I wish my newspaper carrier would either manage to get the paper to me by 7 am or at all OR whoever stole this morning's paper gets papercuts and walks around with a newsprint smear on their face all day. Second morning in a row where I didn't get to read the paper.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Edain, and Nilly, who isn't really here.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I am so happy we haven't had a big snow yet.

The only pair of waterproof shoes I own has a big hole in one of the soles, so not so waterproof any more.

Over the weekend, I ordered a new pair of shoes from www.fryeboots.com. I paid extra for fast shipping. Yesterday, I received an email from them that said "The item you have ordered is in stock". Uhm, thanks guys. It still hasn't shipped.

I'm going to have cold, wet feet tonight when I get home.
