I haven't driven in a bad snowstorm in ages. I miss it when you drive through a drift on the highway and the snow explodes around you as you crash through it.
I did this in a U-Haul coming home from work at 3 am a few weeks ago. It was kinda fun- I felt like a trailblazer.
Apparently, Boston was a mess yesterday, with sleet and freezing rain and whatnot -- my parents said cars were spinning out all around them. Eek.

Did your parents install whatnot tires on their car?
Of course they did! Like any sensible New Englander would.
Lilty, Lilty, Lilty. You don't have whatnot tires??
Well. I have tires. Whether they are whatnot, I do not know. Maybe they will tell me in their time. Like cats.
I am home, and must go to work tomorrow. The last day of my vacation has been lovely, filled with a fair amount of sleep and some great phone calls. The cats are thrilled to have me home, and even psycho-kitty has been friendly and relaxed. Plus, I head out for a massage shortly. Even missing California, I think this must pretty much be the definition of bliss.
Enjoy your last bits of vacation, libkitty!!
