How do you find a good chiro? I've decided it's time to see if they can help the migraines.

Somebody please talk me out of buying this Maison Mehieu hardwood bench, or at least talk me into waiting til I have all my existing furniture paid off.
On the other hand, I think I'll be able to resist the allure of this unaided.

I asked an actor friend, and he recommended a guy who was not only a kickboxer, but had treated one of my krav instructors. He's got terribly gentle hands (which is good, because I go rigid at the thought of adjustments), and knows exactly what sort of fitness I'm looking for.
So my answer is luck, I guess, and asking around.

That's a very pretty bench, Matt. I'm a benchaholic. Just a less fancy one.

Come to Florida. Or if that is not convenient, and you don't know someone local who loves their chiro, try asking at a small health food store. They usually know the acupuncture and chiropratic types.

Matt, buy two of that bench and mail me one.
Bwah! it's way too frou-frou for most of my apartment, but the theme I originally set out to use in my bedroom was 19th century Parisian courtesan's boudior - it would look great at the foot of my bed in place of the plain wooden chair currently placed there. (Also, I have jaquard sheets that would exactly match its upholstery.) I may place it ahead of the lips sofa and a round cocktail table on my to-buy list, as the former requires me to clear an entire room rather than just a chair and I have a servicable substitute for the latter.
Oh, pretty bench!
I can't speak for the snow belt, or even the rest of New England, but the first snowfall every year here in Boston, not one person remembers how to drive in snow. It gets sorted right after, but that first day is sort of touch and go. It's better to just stay off the roads, even if it is just a dusting.

It stands here too, Cindy.
