I tried to watch the OC over the Christmas holidays. I watched two episodes. Liked it, but not loooved it. Maybe that's why I can never seem to figure out when it is actually on and remember to watch it.

In fact, even though I know my parents were wrong for each other, if they'd ever acted like things might work out, I'd have been thrilled- so I resented her attitute.

Oh, I thought Marissa was a total self-centred brat. However, I do think her resulting feelings of isolation and abandonment were realistic nonetheless.

I sit corrected. Cindy and DX are correct: indeed, it was Beaver Brown. (Quel name!) I remember answering phone calls from Tiger Beat, and typing up contract riders for their tour with the Beach Boys. Ah, the slippery cusp of stardom!

As an odd aside, I learned Cafferty's jean size, because Levi's was a co-sponsor of the tour. He is a wee little man.

Matt, I didn't think Praed looked that bad in the one Jules Verne ep I saw. I mean, he's no longer stunningly beautiful, but he looks okay. I wouldn't mind seeing him work some more.

It's hammering rain. Somehow I don't think this means I can skip going to the gym tonight.

Msbelle, re your WAT whitefont, I thought the address they found for the doctor was the clinic address, not his home address, but because the blond chick had lied to the agents, they went in with the assumption that he was sleeping with Tara, and made it about the personal, and not the medical.

Also re WAT, am I the only one who gets bugged by LaPaglia's character threatening to hold witnesses personally responsible almost every show? I think part of it is, really, he's just not that scary, so my response to the threat would be "Pfft, yeah, right."

IOmemeN, I turned on the heat in my apartment for the first time ever. Not unrelatedly, I am still sick, and staying home today.

Perhaps she wants to keep the flame of jheri curl hatred alive and burning brightly within my breast and the plant is a subtle reminder that we must be ever vigilant against the dreaded jheri curl(and his grease and chemical laden brother the conk).

Has anyone here tried steel cut oatmeal? Has anyone not hated it?

A co-worker has brought me a cup of it, and the cooking instructions sound daunting and unrewarding.
