All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

" Yet a year after nearly 90 percent of Bam was leveled (see map), just $17 million of $1 billion in foreign-aid pledges has come in, says President Mohammed Khatami."

Sigh.

Weather, weather, go away...

Tornados should not happen in January.

I have a plan.

Joy oh joy, I found a place to live here in the desert city of Tucson. It's great too.

My father and I drove by one place so I could drop off an application and talk to the manager about a deal I made the previous day with the owner, on discounted rental rate if I paid half the lease up front. It wasn't a very good area and I got a not so good vibe from the guy (the manager, the owner was very nice). The manager claimed not to know anything about it and since the owner was winging his way to DC, he couldn't confirm it. I applied anyway because it was cheap and what the hey...

Then on a whim, we drove by a place I looked at a few days earlier. Much much much nicer but a bit more expensive. Until we walked into the management office where we were told that there was a special going on and I could rent a unit for far less than I was originally told. Much less than the other crappy place mentioned above. So I took it and I get to move in tomorrow.

Lucky lucky, joy joy.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay, Thomash!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We shall talk about assemblage of the World's Prettiest Security Team, correct?

I've already found Evangeline's personal handler. We're such a giving lot.

I wonder if we can make the team even prettier?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's been unseasonably warm the last week or so. Today it rained for most of the day, which meant traffic was of the suck. More so than usual, I mean. It should not take over an hour to make a trip that takes 25 minutes when the roads are clear.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Waiting for ink to dry on contract, Lee. I have superstition issues.

BUT! It looks to be the Renaissance mid-April.

And I will be auctioning David Fury. Which is such a joy!

I think I've seen her on a late night phone personals ad.

Is that even possible?

Anywho, since I definately know the venue, we can take a walk through some weekend soon.

I want the celebrities to have a big pissing contest about who gives the most, and then all give 'til it hurts.

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- A bodyguard for seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher was among those killed in the tsunami disaster.

Burkhard Cramer died in Phuket, Thailand, Schumacher spokeswoman Sabine Kehm said Wednesday. Cramer's two sons also are believed to have died.

On Tuesday, Schumacher's manager said the German, who drives for Ferrari, pledged $10 million to victims of the Asian disaster. Willi Weber said a decision on allocation of the funds will be made in the next few days, after consultation with the German Foreign Ministry.
