I wonder if we can make the team even prettier?
Is that even possible?
Anywho, since I definately know the venue, we can take a walk through some weekend soon.

I want the celebrities to have a big pissing contest about who gives the most, and then all give 'til it hurts.

F1 champ gives $10M to relief effort
FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- A bodyguard for seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher was among those killed in the tsunami disaster.
Burkhard Cramer died in Phuket, Thailand, Schumacher spokeswoman Sabine Kehm said Wednesday. Cramer's two sons also are believed to have died.
On Tuesday, Schumacher's manager said the German, who drives for Ferrari, pledged $10 million to victims of the Asian disaster. Willi Weber said a decision on allocation of the funds will be made in the next few days, after consultation with the German Foreign Ministry.

Jesus. You know what? Money isn't going to solve this problem, unless people are actually going to invest in building up viable economies in that region that raises the standard of living. And the politics of the region will prevent that.
There's certainly an immediate need to prevent outbreaks of cholera and dyssentary and get some shelter for these people. But the kind of money being thrown that way is too late. 140,000 people will still be dead. This money is just going to get eaten up by dictators and warlords and won't change things.
It's like a weird overreaction to the mounds of dead bodies. The tsunami is over. Clean up, bring some antibiotics, build some new shacks and on you go. Meanwhile, (to list one example) sub-Sahara Africa is dying of AIDS in a crisis where that money could make a difference.
As soon as the money I recently earned and got paid via PayPal hits my account, I think I'm going to donate to the general fund of some group like Doctors Without Borders that I know does good work around the world, and let them figure out what they need to do with it.
8 minutes into Alias, 2 wigs and 2 sets of underwear.
pant pant pant... I have major Alias jealousy going.
Death and Taxes is such a depressing look at discretionary funding. But also, cool.
am cold. I've been cold all day. When I took my afternoon nap (yes I still take naps, what's it to you?) I wore fleece pants, a turtleneck and a fleece sweater and I was still cold.
And, uh, I don't think that's the DC metro....
And 3 wigs now.
Poor chilly Kat. Go stick your feet in a tub of hot water. And maybe your hands up to your wrists. Looks dopey, but works.
Alias: So far, so good.

One other thing to consider. In Indonesia in particular a lot of the money won't just be stolen by dictators. It will be used by them to kill people, especially in areas where there is an insurgency. Oxfam and Doctors Without Borders are both good about making sure the mony they collect are not used in this fashion.

I think the deal is that WMATA never lets anyone shoot in the actual subway.
