but then, what will I watch on Sundays? I wonder where ATK is. We should make a pilgrimage. We could be tasters!

Boston, I think.

The cookbooks are for the ones that have broadcast already. So I have the books from 2002 and 2003.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

for those of you who like Cook's Illustrated or watch America's Test Kitchen, the cookbooks from ATK are AWESOME

My brother is a missionary for ATK. He pimped them at us all during Christmas, and now I have one of the books on my wishlist.

I don't have Earthquake straps, but I bought some brackets at the hardware store and strapped my bookshelves to the walls using climbing webbing. Seems to work okay, I hope.

hip deep in pie

I got one of my friends Cook's Illustrated's The New Best Recipe for Xmas, and I totally wanted to keep it for myself.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I AM SO VERY HOME.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay! Glad you're back, Allyson. I'm about to go to bed I think.

I just updated all my lists and projects, and I feel all accomplished. I'll be so dissapointed when it all goes to the wayside around March.

I wanted to buy my parents that movie for Christmas. I thought it would make a much better family holiday movie than "When Harry Met Sally" You have not been mortified by your parents until your step-father puts the Meg Ryan fake-gasm on the "Stadium" setting on the surround-sound.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Allyson!

I just got a collection notice from my apartment management company threatening me with all sorts of bad things if I didn't pay my utility bill (to an outside company), which seems to be past due. Of course, since I have never in my life gotten a bill from the outside utility company, I am somewhat at a loss as to just how the fuck I was supposed to pay it in the first place.

Do they maybe pay it, and you're supposed to pay them? How long have you lived there? How long have they been smoking the bad monkey crack?
