"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay! Glad you're back, Allyson. I'm about to go to bed I think.

I just updated all my lists and projects, and I feel all accomplished. I'll be so dissapointed when it all goes to the wayside around March.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I wanted to buy my parents that movie for Christmas. I thought it would make a much better family holiday movie than "When Harry Met Sally" You have not been mortified by your parents until your step-father puts the Meg Ryan fake-gasm on the "Stadium" setting on the surround-sound.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Allyson!

I just got a collection notice from my apartment management company threatening me with all sorts of bad things if I didn't pay my utility bill (to an outside company), which seems to be past due. Of course, since I have never in my life gotten a bill from the outside utility company, I am somewhat at a loss as to just how the fuck I was supposed to pay it in the first place.

Do they maybe pay it, and you're supposed to pay them? How long have you lived there? How long have they been smoking the bad monkey crack?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Keep it as long as you like, Kat. Thank you for taking good care of my Ruby!

According to the letter, I am supposed to pay the rep directly. Of course, the rep only has office hours M, W, F, 9-4. I guess I will go in and raise a fuss tomorrow and see if I can get an answer, and if not be I will just have to be late for work on Wednesday.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Lee, that sounds kind of screwy. Don't end up paying something you don't have to.

for those of you who like Cook's Illustrated or watch America's Test Kitchen, the cookbooks from ATK are AWESOME. So good that we can now delete the X number of episodes from the Tivo.

Very cool. Those are going right on my "to brenda, love brenda" list.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Welcome home, Allyson! We love you!

The diseased samples were gross in ways for which I was completely unprepared,

Plus there were lots of smoker's lungs. Surprisingly yicky.

Oy, Lee. What a PITA.

Hi Burrell!

It is a pain in the ass, but hopefully I can get it solved tomorrow.

DOH! I just realized that in spite of having thought I put all christmas stuff away, I still have stockings hanging. I wonder if I can shoehorn them into the box.

Ohh, I need to get something from you.

Doh.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

HA! I know, Lee. We still have your gift!

Thank you for taking good care of my Ruby!

She must be so happy to see you.

I'm feeling all oogey at the thought that I do not know nearly enough about the byzantine empire for tomorrow.

Oh well.
