You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

What is even happening?

Happy New Year, ChiKat, wherever you are! *g*

When Bitches and Natter had each others names in their titles last month, I was making that mistake all the time.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Thanks, Sean & Cindy! Sean, have fun at your parents'. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

I just emailed off the paper. I'm at the point where I'm just happy it's done. Woot! Now, I'm gonna go to Target and do a wee bit of shopping then head home.

Happy New Year, Buffistas! You are all a bright spot in my life.

I'm stuffed from breakfast still. Stuffed and a little oogie feeling.

I think that might be remedied by a nap, but I bet we're going to Ikea instead.

Also, all of you who didn't have breakfast with Lee missed her very beautiful cranberry colored sweater.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a nap!

I still feel a little oogy though.

My sister gave me the sweater for Christmas.

Speaking of mimosas -- well, Sean was -- does one need more than oj and champagne for mimosas? I thought that was all there was to them, and then I looked them up online and saw all these references to triple sec, marichino cherries, grand marinier, etc. I had been planning on bringing them to a friends NYD brunch tomorrow, and now I'm all intimidated.

I've been invited to two different shindigs and I'm staying home and liking it. I like the people, just....nah.

Also? Trying to help my mom use her computer and troubleshoot via email? Sucks.

I braved target and got myself a snuggly soft bathrobe (faux cashmere) and dish soap and printer paper. I use giftcards for such exciting stuff!

I need to figure out where to find a piece of 5x6.5 glass (broke a picture frame,) a frame for some peruvian watercolors mom gave me and non-bed pillowshams/covers. I suppose I could make the latter, but that would require getting a sewing machine and swearing a whole helluva lot. Me!=crafty.

I have always just had oj and champagne in mine, Calli.

Never had any complaints either.

Oh, good. Thanks, Lee. I shouldn't worry -- they'll get champagne in the a.m. (well, barely -- 11ish) and that should be tasty enough for anyone.

Heh. ETA: This quote popped up when I made this post.

I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.
