Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Hivemind question:

As part of a freelance project, I'm trying to find out if Dell, HP, etc. ever donate or discount merchandise for nonprofits other than schools and healthcare institutions. However, I've been unable to find a general info number on any of their websites. Go to "Contact Us" and it's all about sales and customer support, and actually dialing the number gets you lost in a voicemail menu forever. Any thoughts on how to track down this kind of thing?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hey, there Bitches! I had to skip several thousand posts, so I hope everyone had a great holiday.

{{bt}} so sorry about your Mother.

erika: I read your essay and thought it was fantastic.

I went to Memphis and saw the family. It was nice yet also depressing. My dad is still in the rehab place (his first stroke was in June, second in November). He was going to have a pass for Christmas Day to come to my sister's, but he had a grand mal seizure on Friday morning and was put on bedrest for 3 days. Very depressing to spend Christmas afternoon in a hospital. Could have been worse, though. He's at least gettting better.

I have no plans for tonight. I'm with Steph on the whole

thing. I told the BF that as long as I was with him, I didn't care what we did.

Currently, I'm at work. Our office is closed, but I need to finish up a paper and get it emailed to the prof today. And, my home computer is still off getting fixed. I'm taking a break between drafts. I have it written and it's fairly decent, but I need to revise some.

What is even happening?

Happy New Year, ChiKat, wherever you are! *g*

When Bitches and Natter had each others names in their titles last month, I was making that mistake all the time.

Thanks, Sean & Cindy! Sean, have fun at your parents'. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

I just emailed off the paper. I'm at the point where I'm just happy it's done. Woot! Now, I'm gonna go to Target and do a wee bit of shopping then head home.

Happy New Year, Buffistas! You are all a bright spot in my life.

I'm stuffed from breakfast still. Stuffed and a little oogie feeling.

I think that might be remedied by a nap, but I bet we're going to Ikea instead.

Also, all of you who didn't have breakfast with Lee missed her very beautiful cranberry colored sweater.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a nap!

I still feel a little oogy though.

My sister gave me the sweater for Christmas.
