Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So we were going to re rout part of the tub - 1/2 hour project. Nope - we will regout the whole tub after an hour of grout removal. this is home stuff, I understand. However, Percy the cat does not understand. When we are home we should spend our time paying attention to him - not doing things in the room of falling water.

Hi Lee! Sounds like a nice breakfast.

the room of falling water

Is it just me, or does this sound like the next high flying wire Kung Fu movie, with gorgeous production values?

What is even happening?

Lee, you can't go wrong in pink pjs. Well, you could, and if you do, enjoy, says I.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sean, did you get my message about tomorrow being cancelled?

Heh, I just finally got out of pjs. Having just now found out the NYE party I was planning to go to has been cancelled, I'm ready to get back into them. I think it will have to wait until after I do a little grocery shopping.

Sean, did you get my message about tomorrow being cancelled?

No, not yet. I think you were sending that to the old PacBell account, which I don't check as often.

That sucks. Why the cancellation?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Going out tonight doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I'm not being a curmudgeon; I just get irritated at the New Year's Eve implications of THIS WILL BE THE FUNNEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR OMG WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO PARTY YOUR ASS OFF?!?!

Plus, I've been working all day (well, since noon) on my freelance project, and I just don't feel mingle-y.

I am, however, taking a break from the project and going to see Kinsey in about 23 minutes.

Which means I should get off the couch, put the hummus away, and find some clean clothes.

Back here later, I plan to ring in the New Year by working some more and doing laundry. I live on the edge. I predict that I'll be asleep before midnight.

I know, I know. You all want to be me. But ask yourselves: can you REALLY keep up with this rockstar lifestyle?

Oh, I think I could get you out to a party, if I were there.

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

I know! It's ridiculous, let me set my own party times! Having said that, I am getting together with a few close friends today; while Steph L. puts the hummus away we're going to break it out! After making it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Why the cancellation?

Mostly, just too worn out and feeling like I am getting sick. Also, this way I get to drink all the oj and champagne I bought myself.

Steph's plans are pretty much mine, at this point, except I may not do the laundry.
