nd I'm still waiting for Chris in the Morning, I think.

Me too, Erika. Although I think I'm not interesting enough for Chris. But man, he's a pretty man. Was then, still is. Love his voice.

I may need to write some NE fic. I drabbled it a while ago, but that was it.

Oh, and Erika? Loving your article. Brilliant and smart and funny and sad.

I love that somebody so foamy talked about philosophy and the collective unconscious and such. Swoon. I'd need to watch some more to write fic...ah, suffering for art. I'm such an Ed. I was Ed at nineteen and I think I'm Ed now.

I loved Ed and Marilyn, myself. Plus Chris and Chris' black brother. And Holling. And what's-his-name, the former astronaut, and chief architect of the town, even though he was an ass.

Maurice, pretty much the town dickwad.(It would be nice to live in a town with *one*)Ruth Anne, the store lady was pretty great. I remember, she had two sons...one an accountant, made crazy bank. The other was...I don't know, a trucker who wrote poems. It was the accountant who made her shake her head and say "I don't know where I went wrong with him."

Chris' brother was Bernard. And Maurice Minnifield was the astronaut. I just saw the one where he fires Chris for saying on the radio that Walt Whitman was gay, and then spends the next week playing showtunes, completely unaware of the irony. Heh.

Yeah, but Maurice was a generous dickwad, in his own dickwad way. And in some ways he understood Sicily better than Joel ever could.

God I miss that show. It was really just the most wonderous thing.

Yeah, definitely. Mostly he didn't try to be a dick...just conventional.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi! I am home from yummy breakfast with Kat, which turned into yummy breakfast with Kat and Lori and Burrell and her DH and Frannie. It was great, and since it was my one set plan for the entire long weekend, I have changed back into my pink pjs and pink bathrobe, which will be pretty close to my outfit for the entire weekend.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So we were going to re rout part of the tub - 1/2 hour project. Nope - we will regout the whole tub after an hour of grout removal. this is home stuff, I understand. However, Percy the cat does not understand. When we are home we should spend our time paying attention to him - not doing things in the room of falling water.
