libkitty, did you get to meet any of the Seattleistas?
I had to skim USA Today, because the reports were everywhere, and making my eyes prickle. I'm so unprepared to think hard on disasters of such scale.
Yeah. I can't even comprehend the scale. People are posting about stadiums full, and super-stadiums full, and every time I see the number, it's larger, and sure to double once the disease sets in. It hurts my heart, and I can't do anything but send a pittance. It feels so wrong to know so many people are suffering, and mourning, and just sit here.
for the complete lunacy part?
In the time off pissing contest, I'm trying to keep my mouth shut because I'll be back at work for 2 weeks and then off again. Until early March.
10:00 is perfect, Lee.
I didn't, Cindy. I got in late at night, and had to be at the airport at about 8:30 the next morning, so it didn't seem worthwhile. But I have to go through Seattle whenever I head south, so hopefully it will work out some other time.

I didn't know it was possible to kinda love and kinda hate someone so much simultaneously.
libkitty, have a blast on your trip! I booked myself a hotel in NYC for a night on my birthday, and I am already excited about luxuriating in it. I plan on ordering room service for breakfast and possibly will leave my towels lying wily nily around the room. You know, if I'm feeling daring.
Creepy robots.
I need one of those robots, but just for eating mosquitos.
Kat, I was wondering why I had a longer break than you did. That just didn't seem right. Now it all makes sense.
How's Ruby?
Ben put "robot butler" as one of the items on his letter to Santa. Julia put "robot maid". She also put "trap door, with lava pool". This was before the Santa reveal.
Hmmm. I wonder if Miracleman had their ear.
Sounds like fun, Kristin. Enjoy!
