Natter 31 But Looks 29
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
In the time off pissing contest, I'm trying to keep my mouth shut because I'll be back at work for 2 weeks and then off again. Until early March.
I didn't know it was possible to kinda love and kinda hate someone so much simultaneously.
libkitty, have a blast on your trip! I booked myself a hotel in NYC for a night on my birthday, and I am already excited about luxuriating in it. I plan on ordering room service for breakfast and possibly will leave my towels lying wily nily around the room. You know, if I'm feeling daring.
Creepy robots.
I need one of those robots, but just for eating mosquitos.
Kat, I was wondering why I had a longer break than you did. That just didn't seem right. Now it all makes sense.
How's Ruby?
Ben put "robot butler" as one of the items on his letter to Santa. Julia put "robot maid". She also put "trap door, with lava pool". This was before the Santa reveal.
Hmmm. I wonder if Miracleman had their ear.
Sounds like fun, Kristin. Enjoy!
Ruby hates me. She immediately darts under the bed whenever I go in Allyson's apartment. I think she knows me as the One Who Has the Dogs.
Also, she changed the channel from Animal Planet to NBC and I had no idea how to change it back.
Intersession, also, is the reason I have to teach for 2 weeks. Intersession with my own kids is fun because it neither counts nor matters.
I intermittently envy the time off of the teacher, but then there's the grading and the interacting with students, and well, hell no. I work fewer hours than most full time teachers, and I'm good with that.
Yes, ita, it's true. But I actually love my big chunks of time off. It's the big chunks of time on that I'm not thrilled with.
The student are great. The grading, however, does suck.
