Hey, has anyone heard of any bottled water companies providing portable water to the tsunami ravaged areas?
When I was looking through photos of the disaster on Yahoo News, there was one of a boy standing in front of a bunch of boxes of Iceland spring water. I would assume it was donated but the photo blurb didn't state anything specifically about that.
shrift, is it true you might be coming to Vegas next New Year's?
I was thinking about it, yes. I've never been, but it strikes me as a good place to have drunken revelry.
Part of the fun was definitely the goodness of the seats - 6th row. If we actually buy tickets, we will probably be sitting considerably higher in the stands.
There was a lot of security to make sure the cups did not lead to violence.

Damn. I've got to make this trip work.
If price is a big consideration, you might want to consider not going for NYE itself. A couple of years ago, I went to Vegas January 1-4, and it was wicked cheap, both flights and hotel. FYI.
Alas, I'll be back at work after New Year's Day.
Bummer. I think the week between is a big week to go to Vegas, so there aren't so many deals.
Price isn't so much a consideration as time off work, these days.
And besides, we have a year to plan.
Yeah, I'm not worried about it. This is ND and JohnSweden's baby, and I think they're already checking deals.
I'll be there, I just don't know for how long. I'll probably only be able to come in the morning of the 30th and have to fly back on the 1st. But who cares? I'm going.

Luckily, NYE is Saturday night next year. Perfect!
