Hey, has anyone heard of any bottled water companies providing portable water to the tsunami ravaged areas?
I know Coke is. I live in Coke's hometown, and it was on the local news last night.

I'd babysit for you to facilitate this process.
You've pinpointed the cause for said shagginess. Topped off by DH's insane hours in the past two months.
Amazon's lagging on deliveries
I've skipped - is that some mistake on their side, or does it mean that more copies were ordered than they thought, in which case it's a yay-you scenario?
Oops, look at the time. I'll read the answer after I get back from class.
It's been 12 weeks since I had a haircut at least!!
The last time I had mine cut was April or May of 2003.

I've heard that Anheuser Busch cans drinking water instead of beer and donates it to disaster relief agencies. The did it in the last few hurricanes, but I'm not sure if they're doing the same thing with the tsunamis.

You skipped! You're Nilly, you're not allowed to skip!
Okay, I guess graduate work in Physics might be a legitimate reason to skip and skim.
The actual scenario seems to be: they ordered low and demand was higher than they expected so we probably lost some holiday sales. But at least there was demand. However, I don't collect royalties on unmet demand.

Miller does that, or has done, for the hurricanes, so hopefully something along those lines will happen. Bottles, though, so you can see what it is.
It's like an epidemic of shagginess.I had my hair cut on election day. Usually, I can go at least 8 weeks, and sometimes longer, but this cut wasn't so good. I was unhappy with it after the first couple of weeks. Now I don't know what I want to do with it. My regular stylist didn't cut it last time, because she wasn't available when I had the time. Now she's most likely out on maternity leave, so I'm just sitting around, unhappy with my hair. I took scissors to the bangs myself, on Christmas Eve. It helped for a couple of days, but I don't dare do it twice. Everything gets too out of line.
I know Coke is. I live in Coke's hometown, and it was on the local news last night. That's great, Ginger. I'm still getting no love on Google. I suppose what I'll have to do is look up each company, and see what they have posted on their websites about it. Anyone want to watch my kids for the day?

I imagine they need baby food, and even though I hate when infant formula companies push their goods on people, if the mother's drinking water is contaminated, it would be nice to see those companies ship over some ready-to-feed formula, too.
I think the historical baby formula issue is, even if they do ship pre-mixed, there's never enough, so people still mix it with water.
JZ said it was very rock star of me to be handling calls from the press at all hours.
She is, of course, right.
I need a haircut too -- haven't had one since September, but I still have to wait another two weeks for my appointment.
I can barely even think about the earthquake/tsunami stuff. It's just too big to wrap my brain around. So, so horrible.
oops.
