You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think the historical baby formula issue is, even if they do ship pre-mixed, there's never enough, so people still mix it with water.

JZ said it was very rock star of me to be handling calls from the press at all hours.

She is, of course, right.

I need a haircut too -- haven't had one since September, but I still have to wait another two weeks for my appointment.

I can barely even think about the earthquake/tsunami stuff. It's just too big to wrap my brain around. So, so horrible.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

My hair, by contrast, is long and getting longer. When I can put it up without pieces falling down is when I'll stop.

Though I think I may just get it colored darker, now that I have a little more room in my budget due to MY 10% RAISE!!!! (Which was totally out of the blue. And very exciting. To me.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, Steph!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just made a haircut appointment. The salon does free haircuts for people donating to Locks of Love. The woman on the phone was somewhat snooty about it -- "Well, we're a very small salon, and we'll have to see if we can fit you in with our usual clientele, but I'll see what I can do" -- but I've got an appointment for three weeks from now.

Man, I want a 10% raise! That rocks.

Actually, I'm going to be in good shape financially this semester, I think -- not only is my loan cash out more (due to tuition being less), my school job will cover my pocket money, and the Review will just be icing on top of that. Phew.

Though, to be honest, I think I hadn't gotten a raise -- not even cost-of-living -- in a couple of years. So this is swell.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My office is a very strange place.

Other places have bagels and donuts. We have chips and salsa and guacamole right now, and it's going fast. Breakfast of championes?

Colin Farrell was on Ellen the other day (looked like a repeat). I don't care if he's a skank that sleeps with anything that moves -- he's ADORABLE. I totally see how he can get away with it.

Plus he has the leather cuff of the wrong side of the tracks.
