Punishingly Intricate

I lived on the 4th floor of Shelton in my junior year

Teeny world! Freshman year I ended up with a triple to myself due to one roommate finding a boyfriend at BC and the other getting kicked out of the dorms because of excessive drug dealing. It rocked. I'm now best friends with one of the people who was placed in my room there sophmore year.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I've never been to a live professional basketball game before, and I've rarely if ever watched a whole game all teh way through on tv. But I'm willing to believe it will be fun.

-t, I love going to live basketball almost as much as I'm bored by the televised event. The squeak of the shoes, the grace of the players, watching people who are courtside.... All of it is a LOT of fun. (Not as fun as hockey, but hey.) Have fun tonight!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yeah, Myles was great because the way it was set up, if you had a room there for a year you could get a single in a suite the next year at the very least. They also had a few solo single rooms (which I never had). Senior year I lived in a room on the point (the buiding being a flatiron style former hotel).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hornets' game, -t? If nothing else, people should be amusingly drunk and slightly bitter.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, juliana, that's what I'm hoping for.

Yes, Dana, Hornets. I only found out a couple of days ago how very very bad their record is. And we're playing the Suns, so, no real prospect of a win. But amusingly drunk bitter fans I will be on the lookout for :-)

Color me unsurprised NM is way up there. Between the alcohol, idiots, mountains and vast stretches you can go really fast and fall asleep, I'm almost surprised it isn't higher.

I hate being annoyed at my officemate. But when he doesn't document and I end up duplicating his work, it makes us all look bad. Or when he doesn't document and doesn't do anything, we all look bad. I've yelled at him for this and yet....he keeps doing it.

If I only had a brain...

> I don't think of Boston drivers as mean, so much as that it's a continuation of New England reserve.

Ha. I personally have seen a Boston driver awarded two horns and the rear bumper of a hapless tourist.

By the State Police.

Ye gads, Nora is making me wish I lived in Boston.

So I could take the T.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That is my strategy for driving around inside Boston: take the T.

Oh well, the Staties are wicked mean.
