Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Happy birthday, Emily!

edit: not connected to the Ipod - just a Happy Birthday wish, and hoping the party was brilliant.

Dear 2005,

So far, you are not winning any points with me. Yes, having one friend find a job and another one have more luck with temp assignments is a good step forward. However, the assorted break-ups and life-threatening illnesses that you're subjecting my friends to? Stop doing that. Right now.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jilli, how is the friend's hubby?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

aurelia, she posted an update here. It's not good, unfortunately.

Yaaay! My present from my Secret Santa turned up today, just in time to cheer me up! (I'm getting over the flu and called in sick to work, so I've been flopped listlessly on the couch being generally whiny.)

Thank you, brenda m.! The pink devil ducky & sparkly Lush goodies will probably be used tonight, while I will save the Black Cat coffee & chocolate bar for when I am feeling well enough to actually be able to taste them.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Is anyone else still waiting for their present?

Okay then. I won't close the thread yet.
