If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Brenda, I'm booked with a roomie but we'll have to coordinate hotel plans so I can dognap meet your pup. I'm sure I'll be going through dog withdrawals after a day or two away from home.

Nicole, I was flipping through the BRQG yesterday and happened upon your post about the Stuffed Cow Incident. (Lucy has one of those, too, by the way.) From your description, I'm guessing our dogs have more than a slight resemblance, so she'll be a good fill-in. (You can see her in my LJ post on the trip community - she's been my LJ icon forever since I'm too lazy to create another one.)

I'm getting the pig!

You know, I would love to, but the cheapest round-trip ticket I found for Lee's dates were over $250. So I can't. Sorry. :(

Well, I'll see your :( and raise the stakes with a big *POUT*, but I still get to see you in April so I won't be pouting for long. Yay for April!

the Stuffed Cow Incident

Heh. Bailey still has that stuffed cow. We've sewn the head back on three times now. I call it FrankenCow. And I'm looking forward to meeting you and Lucy!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh hey, I should probably ask this since I need to start making New Orleans f2f travel plans soon. Anyone need a roomie for Friday-Sunday nights?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Eek! Sorry, Kalshane! I do remember seeing your post. We should definitely plan on a Saturday thing.

No problem. I'll start making arrangements to be in MI the weekend of the 29th, since of the two that one is easiest for me.

Hey! People! In and/or near Michigan! The Empress and her crew will be here beginning next weekend up until February 6. We need to find out people's availability so we can organize a get-together. People interested so far include Sail, brenda, DebetEsse, beathen, and shriftykins if she's not buried in work.

Well, since I plan to drive out on the 22nd to meet up with the Miracleborns and Emily et al., I'm not sure how many times I'll be up to or able to drive across the state. So if y'all choose the date and make the plans, I'll do my best to be there.

As for accomodations, I have no idea. Monday is not for thinking.

Or a brief recap to the very very small number of Buffistas at a casual brunch setting ...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Note to self: Even if three vodka martinis in 6 hours really isn't that many, enjoying them with a lot of very rich food the night before you have to get up very early to then fly on what turns out to be not quite as empty a stomach as you'd thought might not be the best of plans.

Signed,

Got Home Five Hours Ago, Only Now Feeling Well Enough To Sit At The Computer.

That said, I highly recommend the vodka martinis at Muriel's, on Chartre St. Also the hot waiter.

I'm not going to say whether or not I made it over to Napolean House for a Pimm's Cup, just to keep Hec guessing.

[eta: Oh, and the Palace Cafe does a very nice three-course Sunday jazz brunch.]
