'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I went to the tiara place as well!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Sunday there's the A's game for those who are going. That will take up most of the afternoon. For those of you not attending (most of you)

There's the BBQ at Deb's.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I have three tiaras I bought for Nilly, and she was so loaded down with tiars, she begged no mas.

I'll pick one out for Lilibeth, and we add a babydoll and a coffee mug. Does that work?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There's the BBQ at Deb's.

Good point! When is that getting started, Deb? Just open and running through the afternoon into the evening?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

For those who have not done an F2F before Do Not Stress about the breaking off into smaller dinner parties element on Saturday. Nobody ever gets left behind. Some folks plan ahead for that meal, others just wing it.

We traditionally have a lot of that in general -- people showing up in the Hospitality suite and finding some friends and doing something. For better or for worse, this seems to be the most 'pre-planed' F2F yet. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Our wings are not tired

In DC I think I was in the HS until the sun came up on Saturday morning.

Seriously, you might feel right now that you'll be left behind for something (we all raptured), but the reality is you'll probably have multiple groups begging you to come to dinner/activity x, so the people in that group can hog all your time from everybody else.

And the magical cork or white board is your friend. People put up notes and you just paruse it until you find something to do.

Like learn how to spell 'paruse' Paroos? Parose?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Let me add my "Me too!" to the Interested in Thrifting/May Cry if I don't get to Dark Garden and the Pirate Store crowd.

I was hoping to do the Winchester House thing, too. Is that unrealistic?

I'm having to restain myself from signing up for everything, because I do want to have some loafing-around-ooh-that-unplanned-jaunt-sounds-fun time rather than just scheduling 3 solid days in advance.
